Symbols for A Sweet New Year and Good for Your Health!

ImageJewish people around the world will be celebrating Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, on September 16th.  For this holiday, it is customary to dip apples in honey.  This is a delicious tradition that also has great health benefits.  
Apples are a low calorie, high fiber treat that counts as one cup of of the recommended daily serving of fruit. They also are a good source of immune-boosting vitamin C.
Honey has abundant medicinal and health benefits.  It is a natural energy source that also boosts your immune system.  Next time when you are feeling lethargic, skip the soda and drink a honey-sweetened cup of tea.
